HEAD SPA 

Q: What is a Japanese head spa?
A: A relaxing and therapeutic scalp treatment that includes double shampooing, deep scalp cleansing, steam therapy, massage, and hair care treatments. It promotes healthy hair, relieves stress, and soothes the nervous system.

Q: Can I combine the head spa with a body massage or cupping?
A: Yes! Combo packages are available and highly recommended for full-body relaxation and wellness. Let us know your preference when booking.

Do I need to wash my hair beforehand?

Oh no no no! You will receive a luxurious hair wash and your scalp will be shining with the option with a towel or blow-dry (styling not including) 

What should I wear?

Loose fitting clothing including underwear with towels and body wraps available. 

Please remove  makeup for the Head Spa Experience and there is a secure spot to store your belonging when you arrive in a private changing room. 

Q: Can I choose essential oils for my treatment?
A: Definitely. We offer a range of essential oils to enhance mood and target specific concerns like stress, headaches, or muscle soreness. 

CUPPING

Q: What is cupping therapy?
A: Cupping uses suction cups to stimulate blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and support recovery. It may leave temporary circular marks, which are not bruises but signs of increased circulation.

Q: Does cupping hurt?
A: Most clients describe the sensation as a deep stretch or tightness, not pain. If anything feels uncomfortable, let us know—we can adjust the suction level.

Q: Is cupping good for back pain or tight muscles?
A: Yes! Cupping is especially effective for the back, shoulders, and areas of chronic tightness or knots.

Q: How long do the marks last?
A: Marks typically fade in 3–7 days, depending on your skin type and how often you get cupping.

Q: How long is a each session?
A: Sessions range from 30 to 90 minutes. 

Location  

This is a private boutique and booking confirmation required prior to arrival. No walk ins. 

Parking

Ample Street Parking is available with a short well lit walk to the spa on foot. 

Children

You are welcome to bring your child/children with notice. I have a spare room for the kids to hang out, use their iPad, play with toys and the spa has colouring books and clay available to keep them busy whilst you relax!
